Import & Export
1. Import Clients & Leads
For both Clients and Leads importing of a CSV spreadsheet file is available. Please download the appropriate template file below and populate it with your data (The template files are also available to download when starting the import process).

CLIENTS Template: SL_Clients_Template.csv
LEADS Template: SL_Leads_Template.csv
(NOTE: Please do not delete the header row of the template otherwise the import will fail).​​
To export data from Excel as a CSV go to File > Save As. The Save As dialog box appears. In the Save as type box, choose the text file format for the worksheet. Select CSV (Comma delimited). Select this link for full Microsoft Support Instructions.
2. Import
1. Select Clients from the Saleslook menu (For Leads simply follow the same processes described below).
2. Select the Imports Clients icon. A popup dialogue box will appear.
3. You can now import your pre-preprepared CSV file. Select CSV File to start the import process. (NOTE: It is highly recommended you use the Clients or Leads Template file provided otherwise incompatibilities may occur. Only filenames exported as a CSV file can be imported. Files such as xls or xlsx are not compatible.)
4. Once you have selected your CSV file to upload, the 'Confirm New Clients' dialogue box will appear. This allows you to confirm the Clients to be imported and deselect any you may not wish to add to Saleslook.
5. Select the Import button and the new Clients are automatically added to the Clients page (or Leads page).
3. Export
1. Select the Exports Clients icon. A popup dialogue box will appear.
2. You can now export a CSV file containing all or selected Clients (or Leads). Select the Export button to create a CSV file (SL_Clients.csv) to save to your default downloads folder. If saving Leads this will create a CSV file named: (SL_Leads.csv).
